Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook ground beef and diced yellow onion for about 7-10 minutes until browned.
  3. Stir in cheddar soup, mushroom soup, and milk. Season with salt and pepper until combined.
  4. Fold in 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese until melted.
  5. Pour the beef mixture into a greased baking dish.
  6. Sprinkle another cup of shredded cheddar cheese over the beef layer.
  7. Combine biscuit mix with remaining cheddar cheese and milk, dollop over the beef mixture.
  8. Bake for 50-55 minutes until the topping is golden brown.
  9. Brush melted butter over the topping and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
