  • 0.5 cup Parsley Chopped
For the Sweetness and Texture
  • 0.5 cup Currants Replace with raisins if preferred
  • 0.25 cup Pine Nuts Toasted
For Cooking
  • 2 cups Vegetable Stock Vegan-friendly
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice Extra lemon can be served on the side

Step-by-Step Instructions for Vegan Dolmas
  1. Prepare Grape Leaves: Rinse the brined grape leaves under cold water and soak in cold water for 15 minutes.
  2. Make Filling: Combine cooked rice, onion, garlic, herbs, salt, currants, and pine nuts in a bowl.
  3. Roll Dolmas: Place a tablespoon of filling at the base of a grape leaf, fold sides, and roll tightly.
  4. Cook Dolmas: Arrange dolmas in a pot, pour vegetable stock and lemon juice over them, and simmer for 18-22 minutes.
  5. Rest and Chill: Allow dolmas to cool for 30 minutes, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
