Cooking Instructions
  1. Heat the grill to medium-high temperature, around 400°F (204°C) and preheat a cast-iron skillet for about 5 minutes.
  2. Grill the bratwursts for about 6 minutes, turning occasionally until browned on all sides.
  3. Remove bratwursts and add sliced onions and bell peppers to the skillet, cooking for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Pour beer into the skillet, return bratwursts, cover, and lower heat to simmer for 20 minutes.
  5. Assemble bratwursts in buns with caramelized onions and peppers, and finish with mustard.
