Method

Directions
  1. Prepare the Brownies. Bake a batch of your favorite brownies according to the recipe or package instructions. Once out of the oven, allow them to cool completely in the pan for about 30 minutes. Cut the brownies into small squares.
  2. Make the Peanut Butter Cream. In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of creamy peanut butter, 1 cup of powdered sugar, 8 ounces of softened cream cheese, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Beat the mixture on medium speed for about 2-3 minutes or until smooth and creamy.
  3. Whip the Cream. In a separate large bowl, pour 2 cups of heavy whipping cream and gradually add ¼ cup of granulated sugar. Whip the cream on medium-high speed until stiff peaks form—approximately 3-5 minutes.
  4. Assemble the Trifle. Grab a clear trifle dish or individual serving glasses. Start with a layer of brownie squares at the bottom, then spread a layer of peanut butter cream, sprinkle mini chocolate chips, chopped peanuts, and drizzle with chocolate syrup. Repeat the layers, finishing with whipped cream on top.
  5. Chill the Trifle. Cover the assembled trifle with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
