Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a standard loaf pan.
- Mash 3-4 ripe bananas in a large bowl, then mix in melted butter, egg, vanilla extract, and granulated sugar.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and ground cinnamon. Fold into the banana mixture.
- Combine brown sugar and ground cinnamon together for the swirl mixture.
- Pour half the batter into the loaf pan, layer half of the swirl mixture on top, add the remaining batter, and swirl the mixture gently.
- Bake for 60-65 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick. Tent with foil if browning too quickly.
