Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, sift together the cake flour, all-purpose flour, cornstarch, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
  2. Using a stand mixer, beat cold butter with brown and granulated sugars on medium speed for about 3-4 minutes until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the whole egg, extra yolk, and vanilla to the butter mixture. Beat on medium-low until smooth and creamy.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, folding gently until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in the chopped Oreos and Cookies ‘n’ Crème chocolate bars until evenly distributed.
  6. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Portion out balls of dough on parchment-lined sheets and bake for 10-12 minutes.
  7. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for about 15 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
