For the Base
  • 3 cups Cooked Rice Instant rice can be used.
For the Topping
  • 2 cups Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese Can substitute with preferred cheese.
  • 1 cup Bacon Bits Turkey bacon can be a lighter alternative.

Method
 

Preparation Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the cream of cheddar soup, cream of herbed chicken soup, and milk until smooth. Stir in garlic, onion powder, smoked paprika, and red pepper flakes.
  3. Spray the bottom of the baking dish with nonstick spray and spread the cooked rice evenly across the bottom.
  4. Arrange the chicken thighs on top of the rice, ensuring they are well spaced.
  5. Pour the creamy sauce evenly over the chicken thighs and rice.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese and bacon bits on top.
  7. Bake uncovered for 45 to 55 minutes until internal temperature of chicken is 165°F (75°C) and cheese is bubbly.
  8. Let the dish rest for a few minutes before serving.
