Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a greased baking dish.
  2. Rinse 1 cup of white rice under cold water until the water runs clear, then evenly distribute it in the bottom of the greased baking dish.
  3. Pour a can of French onion soup and a can of beef broth soup over the rice and gently stir.
  4. Place a stick of butter in the center of the rice mixture.
  5. Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  6. Remove the foil, stir the rice gently, and bake uncovered for an additional 30 minutes.
  7. Let the Stick of Butter Rice rest for about 5 minutes before serving.
