Bang Bang Sauce Preparation
- Whisk together 1 cup of mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons of chili garlic sauce, and 1 tablespoon of sriracha until smooth and creamy. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Shrimp Preparation
- Soak the shrimp in 1 cup of buttermilk for about 20 minutes.
- Mix 1 cup of all-purpose flour, ½ cup of cornstarch, and a pinch of salt and pepper in a bowl.
- Coat each shrimp in the flour mixture and let rest for 5-10 minutes on a cooling rack.
Cooking the Shrimp
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet to 350°F. Fry the shrimp in small batches for 4 to 4.5 minutes until golden brown.
- Transfer fried shrimp to a paper towel-lined plate.
Taco Assembly
- Toss the fried shrimp with the prepared bang bang sauce.
- Assemble tacos with tortillas, shrimp, cabbage, radishes, jalapeños, green onions, and cilantro.
