  • 8 oz Smoked Salmon High quality, thinly sliced.
  • 2 tablespoon Capers Substitute with olives if needed.
  • 1 small Red Onion Optional; thinly sliced.

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice a fresh baguette into thin rounds, about ½ inch thick, and arrange them on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and toast for 8-10 minutes until golden.
  2. Zest and juice half a lemon into a mixing bowl. Add cream cheese, dill, and chives. Beat until light and fluffy, for about 2 minutes.
  3. Spread the lemon-dill cream cheese mixture generously over each crostini slice after they have toasted and cooled slightly.
  4. Place a piece of smoked salmon atop each crostini. Optionally, add a small dollop of whole grain mustard on top of the salmon.
  5. Garnish with capers and thinly sliced red onions. Serve immediately for the best texture.
