Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Dice bacon into small pieces and cook in a large skillet over medium-high heat for 5-7 minutes until crispy. Remove bacon, leaving fat behind.
  2. Pound chicken breasts to an even thickness of ¼ to ½ inch. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
  3. In the same skillet, add vegetable oil, and heat. Sear chicken for 2-3 minutes undisturbed, then flip, adding butter. Cook for 2 more minutes.
  4. Transfer seared chicken to a greased baking dish. Mix cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, dill, and chives. Spread mixture over chicken.
  5. Sprinkle half of the bacon pieces over cream cheese layer, then top with shredded cheddar. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Garnish with remaining bacon, parsley, and scallions. Serve immediately.
