Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and prepare your baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a resealable bag, add all-purpose flour and toss the chicken tenders until they are evenly coated.
  3. Whisk together eggs and a splash of water in one bowl and place panko breadcrumbs in another.
  4. Dip each chicken tender in the egg wash, then coat in the panko breadcrumbs, pressing gently for an even layer.
  5. Season the coated tenders generously with salt and pepper before arranging them on the baking sheet.
  6. Bake the chicken tenders for 20-25 minutes until they are golden-brown and crispy.
  7. While the chicken is baking, combine BBQ sauce, brown sugar, lime juice, and garlic powder in a saucepan over low heat and let simmer for 5 minutes.
  8. Once baked, toss the chicken tenders in the BBQ lime sauce and serve immediately.
