Method
 

Baking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9x13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Mash 3-4 ripe bananas in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
  3. Stir in the melted butter, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until combined.
  4. Gently fold in the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips, reserving a handful for later.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and sprinkle reserved chocolate chips on top.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until edges are golden and a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  8. Cool for at least 30 minutes before lifting from the pan and slicing into squares.
