Baking Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9x13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Mash 3-4 ripe bananas in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
- Stir in the melted butter, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until combined.
- Gently fold in the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips, reserving a handful for later.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and sprinkle reserved chocolate chips on top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until edges are golden and a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Cool for at least 30 minutes before lifting from the pan and slicing into squares.
