Step-by-Step Instructions for Garlic Parmesan Chicken
- Slice chicken breasts in half lengthwise to create thinner cutlets. Pound to about ½ inch thick and season both sides with salt, pepper, and fresh parsley.
- Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken cutlets in batches, cooking 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Transfer chicken to a plate and cover to keep warm.
- Pour ½ cup of white wine into the skillet to deglaze, scraping up browned bits. Reduce the wine for 3-4 minutes, add minced garlic and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
- Stir in 2 tablespoons of butter and 2 tablespoons of flour until combined for about a minute. Whisk in 1 cup of chicken broth and let it simmer. Add 1 cup of Parmesan cheese and cook until thickened, about 4-5 minutes.
- Return the seared chicken to the skillet, coating it with the sauce. Simmer on low for 3-4 minutes, then serve hot.

Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor. Pound chicken to an even thickness for uniform cooking.
