Step-by-Step Instructions
- Begin by slicing each chicken breast horizontally to create four thin steaks. Season both sides liberally with salt and pepper for enhanced flavor.
- Next, take the seasoned chicken and coat each piece generously with flour. Ensure to shake off any excess flour to prevent clumping.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and melt a couple of tablespoons of butter. Once sizzling, add the coated chicken and sear for about 2–3 minutes until golden brown.
- Create some space in the skillet and add minced garlic and the remaining butter, stirring for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Avoid burning the garlic.
- Pour in the apple cider vinegar, soy sauce, and honey, stirring to combine. Allow to simmer for approximately 1 minute until slightly thickened.
- Return the chicken to the center of the skillet, coating each piece generously with the sauce. Remove from heat when done.
- Plate the honey garlic chicken breast and garnish with chopped parsley or green onions. Serve with steamed rice or roasted vegetables.
