- Place the chicken thighs in the bottom of your crock pot in a single layer.
- In a separate bowl, combine chicken broth, fresh lemon juice, and lemon zest. Stir well.
- Mix Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Sprinkle over chicken.
- Slice or mince garlic and scatter over chicken. Dot with butter.
- Cover and cook on HIGH for 3-4 hours or LOW for 6-8 hours.
