Cooking Steps
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Toast the French bread cubes for about 10–12 minutes until golden and slightly crispy.
- Melt the compound butter in a Dutch oven and sauté diced onion, minced garlic, and chopped celery for 5–7 minutes until tender.
- Add cranberries, thyme, and additional herbs, and cook for another 2–3 minutes.
- Combine toasted bread cubes, cornbread stuffing mix, and chopped pecans in a bowl. Gradually add chicken stock.
- Separate the turkey skin from the meat and spread the remaining compound butter underneath the skin.
- Spread the stuffing mixture on a baking dish and place the turkey breast on top.
- Roast in the oven for approximately 40–45 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
