  • 1 cup Blueberries Natural sweetness and antioxidants
  • 2 cups Filtered Water For best flavor
  • ¼ cup Raw Sugar Can substitute with honey or agave syrup
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice Use lemons at room temperature
For the Tea
  • 4 bags Green Tea Bags Can swap for herbal tea if desired

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a medium saucepan, combine blueberries, filtered water, raw sugar, and lemon juice. Heat over medium until boiling, then simmer for 5 minutes.
  2. In a separate pot, bring 6 cups of filtered water to a rolling boil, cool slightly, add green tea bags, and steep for 3 minutes.
  3. Strain the blueberry mixture into a large pitcher, pressing down to extract liquid. Discard solids and stir in brewed green tea with additional lemon juice.
  4. Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes or serve immediately over ice. Garnish with mint or lemon slices.
