  • 1 small Onion or fresh minced onion
  • ½ cup Jalapeños omit for less heat or substitute with bell peppers
  • ½ cup BBQ Sauce choose your favorite type

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the ground chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion, and jalapeños, mixing thoroughly until well blended.
  3. Add the beaten egg and almond flour to the chicken mixture and stir until fully incorporated.
  4. Shape small portions into golf ball-sized rounds and roll in almond flour for extra crunch.
  5. Lightly spray the air fryer basket and the poppers before placing them in the basket.
  6. Cook the poppers in a single layer for 13 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  7. Remove from air fryer and toss immediately in BBQ sauce.
  8. Plate your poppers and garnish with herbs or green onions if desired.
