- Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and line baking trays with parchment paper.
- Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl and set aside.
- Cream the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar together using an electric mixer.
- Add vanilla extract and incorporate eggs one at a time.
- Gradually combine the dry mixture with the wet mixture until just combined.
- Fold in old-fashioned oats until evenly distributed.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking trays leaving space in between.
- Bake for 11 to 13 minutes until edges are golden and centers are soft.
- Cool for a few minutes on trays before transferring to a cooling rack.
